I'm proud to be part of a continent rich in history very divergent from each other. With many people very good and valuable for the world which each day brings more on the progress of humanity. It is thus pay tribute to who discovered this wonderful country and for better or worse perhaps for some, whatever we are heirs to a race itself, which had not been stepped on by this man Christopher Columbus, America today would not be America.

The voyages of the Portuguese in India following African coast meant a stimulus to those who believed the path to the west as the shortest way to reach Asia . Columbus was in favor of this hypothesis. Supported by the English monarchy organized a journey of exploration that led to the discovery of America in 1492.
